COVID 19 Advisory
Message from the Board of Rider's MC about the COVID 19
The recent pandemic caused by the COVID 19 virus is affecting Indiana residents in a multiple ways including work, schools and events. As of March 16th, 2020 Governor Eric Holcomb has issued more directives to Indiana institutions and residents in a continuing effort to slow the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Indiana will adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for large events and mass gatherings. The guidance recommends no in-person events of more than 50 people. Here is a link to the guidance: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/large-events/mass-gatherings-ready-for-covid-19.html.
With our banquet scheduled March 28th, the Board feels that it would be in the best interest in our membership and the community to postpone the banquet until further notice. We understand that this banquet/meeting was also an election meeting and we will schedule a new meeting to address that in the future. If you have any suggestions, comments, questions or concerns feel free to reply to this email and I will forward it to the Board.
Mont Annis, Secretary Rider's MC
