Regular Meeting Minutes 5-14-2026

Riders Motorcycle Club Regular Meeting – 5/14/2026

A pre-meeting members’ club ride took place before the regular meeting. The weather was great, and the dirt conditions were excellent. Thank you again to all of the members who helped put in the new loop, which now connects the beginner loop with the advanced loop for a total riding distance of just over 5 miles.

If you have not had the opportunity to ride this loop yet, you are really missing out. We hope to see even more members out next month for the ride before the meeting!

Executive Meeting

An executive meeting took place before the regular meeting to finalize the agenda. Two additional items were discussed:

  • Reimbursement for the remaining banquet supplies.
  • Discussion on how to proceed with track repairs and how to request club funding for the project.

Both items were addressed later during the regular meeting.

Regular Meeting

The regular meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM.

Reports and Previous Business

  • The Treasurer’s Report was read.
  • Minutes from the previous meeting, including old and new business, were read.

Gate Code Change

The gate code/combination will be changing on 6/1/2026. Please make sure all waivers and membership information are up to date so you can receive the new code.

The email list is still a work in progress. If you believe you are in good standing with the club and do not receive the new code on 6/1, please contact Seth or Donny and they will get you taken care of.

Club Event Discussion

Discussion took place regarding future events at the club grounds. Until the track repairs are completed, it will be difficult to hold a GP event.

An idea was brought forward to host an open ride instead, as it would be much easier to organize. Additional discussion centered around combining the open ride with a family day and possibly making a full weekend event out of it.

Members present seemed very supportive of the idea, and the club is tentatively looking at July for the event. More details and a possible date will be discussed at the next meeting.

Work Day Improvements

At the next work day, LED lights will be added above the picnic tables.

Rich Bender and Mike Webb discussed possible installation methods. We will coordinate with Donny, our Treasurer, to confirm if the plan will work. The current plan is to install surface-mounted conduit and electrical boxes to meet the electrical requirements for the lighting project.

Track Repairs

Seth (president) and Mike(vice president) are currently working on contracting repairs to the track.

A vote was held to allow the board to spend approximately $3,000 ± $1,000 to complete the repairs. All members present voted in favor.

New Members

New recreational members Tobin Goode and Chris Pasielski were introduced.

Welcome to the club! Please make sure all waivers and membership dues are completed to ensure you receive the new gate code on 6/1.

Also, a special shoutout to Tim Frazier — it was great seeing you at the meeting. We hope to catch up with you and churn some dirt soon.

Dual Sport Ride

Mike and Kevin Kline discussed organizing a dual sport ride. They currently have several route ideas and will bring proposed dates and routes to the next meeting.

Grounds Maintenance

The final item discussed was whether the club needs a weed eater, including the possibility of a donated unit.

A big thank you goes out to the team handling the grass cutting and grounds maintenance — the club grounds look great.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:21 PM.
